Dataset description

Contains polarized optical microscope (POM) images of periodic defect arrays induced in the ferroelectric nematic liquid crystal (FNLC) phase upon application of electric field. The POM images are obtained at varied field parameters showing tunable periodicity. Files include the periodicity data as a function applied frequency and voltage. It also includes data for periodicity as a function of voltage (at fixed frequency) for different cell gaps and for two different FNLC materials.
