Dataset description

These data were collected as part of an experiment investigating the impact of emotional engagement while listening to music on subsequent experiences of imagining that music. The data comprise self-report measures of participants’ felt emotion in relation to self-selected music tracks, as well as to experimenter-selected music tracks paired with negative, neutral or positive short films. The data include records of which music was subsequently imagined, and how vividly, as well as behavioural data from a musical imagery accuracy test.
