Dataset description

These data relate to an investigation into the wake structure and propulsive efficiency during jet propulsion swimming in the European common cuttlefish (Sepia officinalis). Cuttlefish jet propulsion swimming utilises one of two jet modes to swim relatively efficiently; their jetting behaviour is optimised for maximal locomotor performance and propulsive efficiency throughout development.
