This repository contains the data to accompany the paper:- Interaction of a shock with a molecular cloud at various stages of its evolution due to thermal instability and gravity M.M. Kupilas, C.J. Wareing, J.M. Pittard, S. A. E. G. Falle The data files are organised into directories per figure (gzipped on CentOS 7) The title of each figure's data repository quotes two sizes: - The first corresponds to the size of the data once extracted - The second corresponds to the size of the .tar.gz file Within each directory, data filenames are given by the following convention: FigXy_figID_time.extension It is defined as follows: - "FigXy" - X refers to figure number and y identifies a panel in the figure using a letter of the alphabet - "figID" refers to a specific identifier of the figure data - where applicable, "time" refers to code time. To scale to real time, see Units section below. - "extension" is either .txt, .xlsx, .pdf or .xq The .xq files have the following format:- [# of dimensions] [# cells in first dimension] [# cells in second dimension] export X Y [variable] xval yval variable ... i.e. the first three lines are a header and the data is contained from the fourth line onwards. The .txt files have the following format:- xval yval ... i.e 1 dimensional, two column data with the following units Fig 1b (density and pressure): xval = log(rho) yval = log(P/k) Fig 11 (lengthscale and power): xval = k yval = E(k) A .jpeg file of each figure is given in the Figure Images directory with the following exception: - FigA1 - a .pdf is given for the full figure and the spectra are shown in the .xlsx file ---------- Units ---------- Code time = 3.71992e14 [s]; divide by 3.1536e7 to convert to [yr]; divide by 3.1536e13 to convert to [Myr] Density: 2.0e-24 [g cm^-3] Velocities: [km/s] Pressure/k (density*temperature): 2.0e-24 [g cm^-3 K] Temperature: [K] ----------
