Dataset description

This dataset contains the experimental data associated with the paper “Exact frequency and phase control of a terahertz laser". In this work, we report the exact frequency and phase control of a 2.0 terahertz quantum cascade laser (QCL), The QCL is locked optically and electronically to a GPS dsiciplined-all fibre telecommunications wavelength comb using an optical injection phase lock loop. The linewidth of the locked QCL was <1Hz, limited by the measurement instrument. The frequency and phase of the QCL was controlled independently.
