Data associated with the paper "Wear and Friction of UHMWPE-on-PEEK-OPTIMA".  This dataset contains:
- The wear factors for the UHMWPE pins after 1MC wear simulation against PEEK and cobalt chrome plates tested in 0, 2, 5, 25 and 90% serum concentrations under room and elevated temperature conditions
- The surface roughness of the PEEK and cobalt chrome plates after 1MC wear simulation under the conditions detailed above
- The bulk lubricant temperature of all the tests detailed above
- The coefficient of friciton of UHMWPE-on-PEEK under 0, 2, 5, 25 and 90% serum concentrations at room temperature  
- Additional images of the plates post-test
