The dataset was created as supplementary materials for the paper "The contact mechanics and occurrence of edge loading in modular metal-on-polyethylene total hip replacement during daily activities". The dataset included the following documentation and data: the predicted results from the FE model; the FE models for the total hip replacements; the solid models of the components for the FE models;
