Readme file associated with data for publication: “Imaging of Nuclear Magnetic Resonance spin-lattice relaxation activation energy in cartilage” Royal Society: Open Science This readme file describes the data enclosed in this upload. The data for each individual sample are contained within each .zip folder. Each folder is labelled with the corresponding sample name and number as identified in the publication and the supporting information with the publication. In each .zip folder, there are a number of subfolders corresponding to each temperature at which the progressive saturation recovery sequence was run. The folder name indicates the temperature at which the data was collected. Each “T1 mapping....” folder contains the original Bruker Biospin MRI binary data in the original format and file/folder structure. The “method” file contains the method information and the actual data is in the “../pdata/1/2dseq” file. The folder labelled “T1 fitted maps” contains the actual T1 fitted images and corresponding Tiff images. This folder also contains a .txt file with the activation energy data obtained from the Arrhenius fitting. The samples labelled #6 and #7 have the data in DICOM format rather than binary data. These are fitted in the same fashion as the binary data. The DICOMDIR file contains the method and metadata information. These files can be opened by any DICOM viewer. The .xlsx file contains the actual data used to plot the figures in the publication and the supplementary information. Figure 1 (a) and (b) were obtained directly from the fitted T1 data in the sample folders.
