This dataset contains the simulator and experimental data associated with:
"An In-Vitro Simulation Method for the Tribological Assessment of Complete Natural Hip Joints"

The dataset consists of two zip folders (each containing five csv files), and three separate csv files.

The input and output profiles for the pendulum friction simulator are detailed in input profile.csv and output profile.csv respectively
Raw experimental data exported from the simulator for the five repeats in the hip hemiarthroplasty group are in hemiarthroplasty_hip_joint.zip
Raw experimental data exported from the simulator for the five repeats in the complete natural hip joint group are in hemiarthroplasty_hip_joint.zip
The friction_factor.csv file contains the normalised friction factor data for each sample in both groups
