FRAME began as a major AHRC-funded research project (2006-2010) into narratives of the Second World War and Occupation in France since 1939. Based at the University of Leeds, it is a collaborative project involving the universities of Leeds and Durham. To date its main outputs, apart from the database, are: • Atack and Lloyd, Framing Narratives of the Second World War in France: New Readings, Durham Modern Language Series, Manchester University Press, 2012. • War and Occupation 1940-1944: Other Stories/Stories of Otherness, French Cultural Studies special issue edited by Margaret Atack, 22:3, 2011. This is an archive of the website and database which was decommissioned in 2017.
