The spreadsheet contains the data for hip simulator tests of aged PE and XLPE acetabular liners under standard and edge loading conditions. 

The spreadsheet contains two worksheets:

Aged PE tab - this contains the gravimetric wear data for the aged PE acetabular liners (sample no.s A2, A4, A6, A10 and A12) 
Sample A12 is the soak control
The weights are measured at 1Mc, 2Mc, 3Mc and 5Mc and the mean values are given

Columns A-F are the weights for standard loading tests (5 repeats) 
Columns H-M are the weights for edge loading test (5 repeats) 
Columsn O-U are the calculations for the volume change  


XLPE Liners tab - as above but for the XLPE acetabular liners (AM1, AM5, AM7, AM9, AM11)
sample AM11 is the soak control
