This dataset contains experimental data presented in the paper titled 'Synchrotron FTIR Mapping of Mineralization in a Microfluidic Device' Synchrotron data contains the raw data measured at Diamond and it includes the following metadata: 1."500mMCaCl2_1.0.dpt" - "500mMCaCl2_6.0.dpt" are the raw data of evolution of ACC to vaterite and calcite measured by synchrotron FTIR. The time interval is 15 min and the first one start from 20 min. They are associated with Fig. 4 and Fig. 6 in the main text. 2."water_bcg.dpt" is the background data of DI water in CaF2 microchannel with height of 3 um. It is used as the reference to eliminate the contribution from water and CaF2 substrate. 3."500mM_1.jpg" - "500mM_6.jpg"are the real pictures of imaging area in the process of transformation from ACC to vaterite and calcite. It is associated to Fig. 3 in the main text. 4."Asp50_250mMCaSo4_1.dpt" - "Asp50_250mMCaSo4_3.dpt" are the raw data of formation of gypsum in microfluidic chip measured by synchrotron FTIR. The time interval is 15 min and the first one start from 20 min. They are associated with Fig. 2(a) in the main text. 5."ACC_std.txt", "vaterite_std.txt" and "calcite_std.txt" are the standard FTIR spectra measured by synchrotron source. It is associated to Fig. 5 in the main text. Absorption spectrum under different pathlength contains the synchrotron FTIR spectra of water with pathlength of 25 um and 6 um. Raman spectrum contains the Raman spectra of ACC, vaterite and calcite measured by Renishaw inVia Raman Microscope. Normal FTIR spectrum of standard phases contains the IR spectra of ACC, vaterite, calcite and gypsum measured by Perkin Elmer Spectrum100 FTIR with diamond ATR. Normal FTIR spectrum during transformation and powder XRD data contain the FTIR spectra and XRD signal of bulk transformation experiments related to Fig. 7 in the main text. CaF2 transmission coefficient is the transmission spectrum of 1 mm CaF2 crystals in the IR range.
