CONTENTS ----------- Twenty retrieved dual mobility polyethylene liners were sourced from two institutional review-board approved implant retrieval databases: IRB CPHS at Dartmouth College, USA (reference: STUDY00022199) and NRES at Greater Manchester West, UK (reference: 18/NW/1707). This dataset contains data derived from the four samples which were obtained through the latter study. The following documents have been deposited into the repository: 01_implant_summary_table.csv - Contains pertinent implant and non-identifiable patient information relating to each retrieval assessed in this analysis. The following abbreviations have been used in the table: n/k - not known MoPoM - metal-on-polyethylene-on-metal CoPoM - ceramic-on-polyethylene-on-metal 02_visual_inspection_internal.csv 02_visual_inspection_external.csv - Visual inspection results relating to the assessment of the internal and external surfaces of each liner for seven known modes of polyethylene surface damage 03_EDX_results.csv - Material characterisation results for embedded debris particles assessed using EDX analysis 04_surface_deviation_heatmaps.zip - Compressed file containing surface deviation heatmaps (.tiff files) for each sample, as generated through the geometric assessment 4.
