CONTENTS ----------- The dataset includes two files. (i) Plasmid_sequences.xlsx: designed plasmid sequences for three bacterial strains (sensor, producer, and regulator strains) and the corresponding whole plasmid sequencing results. (ii) Experimental_data.xlsx: raw experimental data (fluorescence intensity (FI) and optical density (OD600)), and calculated data (background subtracted or normalised FI by OD600) for plots generated using MS Excel. Different experimental conditions, e.g., the presence or absence of the inducer arabinose or sample supernatants, to test culture induction, taken at different time points, indicated in the different sheets.
