A full description of the data, methods, and interpretation may be found in the related publication. Simulations were carried out with the classical Gillespie algorithm, see Ref.[78] in the paper. The dataset consists of 8 sheets, corresponding to the data reported in Figures 3a, 3b, 4a, 4b, 5a, 5b, 6a, and 6b of the paper where the physical quantities are studied with respect to the switching rate nu that varies over many decades.
