METHODS ---------- -Data was collected from participants walking a single right foot stance phase step over a glass plate embedded in a 2 m long walkway. -A stochastic speckle pattern was applied to the plantar aspect of each participant to use digital image correlation analysis. -A reference image was taken in a neutral alignment while the participant was stood on the glass plate. -Data was recorded during stance phase at 30 fps using a 1080 × 720p webcam to track the DIC pattern. -Camera calibration was conducted using the MATLAB single camera calibration process to adjust the frames. -Three repeats trials were undertaken per participant. -Data was processed via GOM Correlate 2020 [v2.0.1] free to access software with an equidistant pointwise spread overlaid to export the data to a csv. -Analysis was conducted in MATLAB [R2021a] to apply a sigma filter to remove extraneous data and apply a comparative pedar [Novel GmbH, Munchen, Germany] anatomical region mask -The collated data set is the combined regional output data for each participant.
