PROJECT AND FUNDING INFORMATION ---------------------------------- Title: Consequences of decellularisation on the biomechanical and biological properties of porcine tendon at a sub-tendon scale Dates: 2018 - 2023 Funding organisation: EPSRC, CONACyT Grant no.: EP/L014823/1, EP/P001076/1, 71066 4. CONTENTS ----------- This dataset contains experimental data on native (N), decellularised (DC) and GAG-depleted (GAGD) porcine superflexor tendon. This group can also be referred to as treated (T). The folder "Compression" contains raw data obtained from compressive loading with files relating to all specimens from each group. The folder "Ha and k" contains the data files used for obtaining aggregate modulus (Ha) and permeability (k), with a file name key, given the files were randomised. Tensile_data_for_all_groups.xlsx contains the parameters of tensile loading, including strength (ST) and stress relaxation (SR) testing. The relevant data obtained from biochemical assays (GAG quantification) are included. 5. METHODS ---------- For details on methods, please refer to https://doi.org/10.1016/j.jmbbm.2023.105671
