This is the repository of data relating to the paper entitled “Interaction of a magnetohydrodynamical shock with a filament”. The repository consists of raw data files, code, set-up files for each simulation, and analysis files (including the raw statistics files, images, and gnuplot files used to create the graphs). Where appropriate, files have been subdivided according to magnetic field orientation (e.g. Oblique Field, etc.). The repository is subdivided as follows: Figures: all of the images included in the published paper. Gnuplot: gnuplot files used to produce plots of various global quantities/statistics (e.g. filament core mass, density, velocity etc.) against time (in units of the cloud crushing time). These files are divided into Oblique, Parallel, and Perpendicular Script subfolders. Resolution_test: this folder contains all the statistics files, gnuplot files, and figures relating to the resolution and convergence tests used in the paper. Silo: silo files used to produce 3D volumetric renderings in the VisIt software. Statistics: subdivided into Oblique, Parallel, and Perpendicular Fields, these contain all the raw statistics files relating to time, filament mass, filament velocity, filament volume, etc. Code: contains the main code. Resolution: includes the setup (and restart) files for running the resolution tests on a high performance computer. Setup: contains all the setup/restart files for each simulation, arranged according to magnetic field orientation. The setup files allow various simulation parameters to be changed without having to alter the code. E.g. the cloud density contrast, Mach number, orientation of the filament, magnetic field strength, etc., can be changed in these files as well as the resolution of the simulation and time step for recording the statistics.
