Dataset description

These data were used in the preparation of the manuscript entitled “Observation of Compositional Domains within Individual Copper Indium Sulfide Quantum Dots”. The dataset contains EELS maps for a number of CIS (Copper Indium Sulfide) core and CIS/ZnS (zinc sulphide) core/shell quantum dots (Qdots), which show spatial segregation of Cu and In. Data for particles that are included in the manuscript is included along with data for particles that did not. The dataset also includes further characterisation data including X-ray diffraction spectra, used to identify the crystal structure of the Qdots, and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy data used to measure the relative proportions of Cu and In in the particles. “Survey” TEM images of large numbers are also included, along with photoluminescence spectra of each of the Qdot samples.
